Community Involvement
HouseMax was founded in Kansas City, and giving back to our community is very important to us. Our founder, Jason, was born and raised in Kansas City and has lived here for around 40 years. Not only is he a loyal Kansas City Chiefs and Royals fan, but he also knows the Kansas City metro and its surrounding areas well.
Jason is passionate about HouseMax as a company and has built a genuine brand over the years. His goal is to not only help others achieve their goals but also to educate and mentor those close to him to be the best they can be. Every staff member at HouseMax is encouraged to grow in both their professional and personal lives through guidance, self-improvement books, and support.
We will also employ people living in halfway houses, such as former inmates with non-violent pasts looking for work, to complete home cleanouts and moving. It can be challenging for inmates to find work after being released from prison, and we want to give them a chance to get back on their feet.
When HouseMax hires employees, we want to mold them into something they want to be. When you work with us, we want you to know that your home will be in good hands.

Community Groups We Support
Just like the employees at HouseMax, instead of giving people in our community a handout, we want to offer them an opportunity for a hand-up. That’s why we partner with certain charities and shelters in our area. If you leave any items in your house behind that you don’t want, we donate them to local shelters
- Domestic violence shelters
- Homeless shelters
- Veterans of Kansas City
- City Union Mission
